Boredom.

I hold my breath as I stand in this room,
nothing can stop me, I have to consume.
Time stands still, silent are my thoughts.
It seems like everything around me is naught.

Just you and me, we are alone.
Unknowingly I leave my throne.
A twitch, a flash, the tingling in my fingers,
a call for attention to strengthen all thinkers.

Cannot resist my desire,
it’s like a song of ice and fire.
I’m entering this new abstract world.
Sucked in, the water has swirled.

Here no rules apply, everything is effortless.
The whole world can be changed with just one press.
My senses are sharpened and still I’m on it,
it can be fun, though I cannot quit.

Adrenaline rushes through my veins.
The desire for more is all that remains.
Immortal and free, yet so trapped and insecure.
Trapped like a blind man in a labyrinth, this system has its own signature.

I spin in circles and see no end here,
my thoughts scream at me but I cannot hear.
With all my force, I try to get out of this hole.

I can do it I can change I’ll find a compromise.
There’s more to life, I promise.
Seeking wisdom and truth, that’s for what I strive.
